This month, The Community Lincoln welcomes Shawn Garza, Executive Director of Project Pink’d, for a conversation about the strength that becomes possible when people are supported by a caring and responsive community.
Project Pink’d provides tools, resources, and a strong network for breast cancer survivors throughout Nebraska and Western Iowa—from the moment of diagnosis through every stage that follows. Their work is grounded in helping survivors move forward with purpose, connection, and practical support, recognizing that when survivors are strengthened, their families and communities are strengthened as well.
